Connect to the network

Choose a location and connect to get on the doxx.net network.

September 30, 2026

The app handles your connection on iOS, macOS and Android; Windows and Linux use a downloaded WireGuard configuration.

1.Connect on the app

  1. Open doxx.net.
  2. Choose a connection location.
  3. Select Connect.
  4. Allow the VPN-configuration and local-network access prompts.

Don't worry, this just allows you to use Airplay and other local connections while you are connected to the doxx.net network.

Once you see "you're safe." and the blue toggle in the top right, you’re in.

2.Choose a location

To find a location open Network → Location. Feel free to filter by selecting the filter icon beside the search bar. Search by speed (latency), name, or region.

3.Choose a connection mode

To find the connection modes open Network → Mode.

Choose a mode according to your preferred usage style:

  • Easy Mode: A simplified connection with automatic fast-server selection and DNS filtering.
  • Security: The recommended mode for blocking ads, trackers and malware, with firewall, DNS-bypass and kill-switch protections.
  • Tin Foil Hat (The OG): Stronger filtering, Onion Routing and WSS transport. Requires Pro access. Some websites may not work normally.

Streaming, Human Rights and Raw modes coming soon.

Heads Up : Switching modes can reset your custom settings and stop your connection from using its saved profile or dedicated IP. If you’ve set any of these up, check before you switch.

4.Connect on Windows or Linux

  1. Sign in to the web portal.
  2. Open My Network → Tunnel List and select + New WireGuard Tunnel.
  3. Select your desired tunnel location and Create Tunnel.
  4. Open the tunnel's Tunnel Settings → Configuration.
  5. Select Download → Download Standard Config. This configuration includes both IPv4 and IPv6.
  6. Import the downloaded .conf file into WireGuard and activate the tunnel.

Important

Download a separate configuration for each device. Keep each file private.

On Windows, choose Import tunnel(s) from file. On Linux, the portal's Install WireGuard → Linux tab links to the platform instructions.
